• 9/24/04
  • Arrived at Piedmont Medical Center (PMC) at 3:30 PM. We were supposed to come in yesterday night, but due to other emergency deliveries, we could not be accomodated at that time.
• 9/25/04
  • Started Pitocin drip this morning around 6:30 AM.
  • Approximately dialated 1cm at 8:00 AM with mild to moderate contractions.
  • Water broke at approximately 12:30 PM, dialated 3cm.
  • Epidural applied at 1:15 PM
  • Dialated approximately 4.5cm at 2:00 PM
  • Baby delivered at 6:01 PM
  • 6lbs 15oz, 20" long.
  • Mom is resting, baby is still under observation, but looking good.
  • Susan got to see/hold baby for short while at 11:00PM
• 9/26/04
  • Baby allowed to come to our room around 11:00 AM, but he still has to be checked every couple of hours.
• 9/27/04
  • Discharged from hostpital around 1:00 PM, now the fun of parenting really begins.
• 9/28/04
  • First Pediatric appointment. Everything looks good and healthy.
• 9/29/04
  • Had some pictures made at Walmart while getting some necessities. See them here.
